Easter at Sunrise Church

Come Visit Us In-Person This Sunday!

We are now meeting in person at 10:00 a.m.  We continue to offer a church service online here. The next online service is today, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.

We have followed the lead of most of the churches in the area.  Most have started meeting in a limited in-person way.  We feel that it will be safe with all of the procedures that we have in place.

Coronavirus protocol will in place.  We ask that you wear a mask.  We have plenty of masks available and sanitizer.  We also are social distancing our seating.  There will be no food, drink, or communion today due to trying to be careful.  If you don’t feel comfortable, then watch the online service at 10:00 a.m.

We just wanted to let you know the Food backpack ministry was a success.  Our outreach team gathered and delivered over $500 worth of food to the Gateway Pointe School.  Hungry kids will be fed on the weekends.  We had $600 pledged to buy backpacks.  They are ordered and will be delivered to the school.  Thanks to those who prayed, gave money, and delivered the food to the school.  We did this “all for Jesus.”

The theme for today’s message is “If you really want to live, then generously give.” Yes, we are speaking about the instructions of Jesus about using our money to help people to get to know Jesus.  The title of the message is “No Investment, No Interest.”  The scripture is Philippians 4:14-20.  The message is all about the fact that God will supply our needs if we give our money generously to help people who need to be lifted up in our community.  The Philippians were not the richest church in those days, but the church sent Paul an offering with joy in his time of need.  Discover today what the key to enjoyable living really is. Then, you make a decision as to whether you want to be joyful in your life by giving to Jesus.
