Easter at Sunrise Church

Come Visit Us In-Person This Sunday!

We are now meeting in person at 10:00 a.m.  We continue to offer a church service online here. The next online service is this Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  We also have resumed children’s ministry on Sunday mornings.

We have followed the lead of most of the churches in the area.  Most have started meeting in a limited in-person way.  We feel that it will be safe with all of the procedures that we have in place.

Coronavirus protocol will be in place.  We ask that you wear a mask.  We have plenty of masks available and sanitizer.  We also are social distancing our seating.  There will be no food, drink, or communion for the present due to trying to be careful.  If you don’t feel comfortable, then watch the online service at 10:00 a.m.

Feeding People In Our Community

We are a small church with a BIG HEART.  One of the things we do at our church is to feed hungry families.   We just got through with our 2nd FOOD BACKPACK OUTREACH at Gateway Pointe Elementary School in 3 months.  We urge the people of Sunrise Church to be involved.  You can give an offering here.  Make sure you designate it as a SPECIAL OFFERING.

Our new community outreach project is FEEDING FAMILIES AT THANKSGIVING.  We are going to feed at least 10 or more families for Thanksgiving and the weekend after.

Recent Sermons

With the oncoming challenges we face during this pandemic, it is a temptation to give up or sit still. Both of those options mean defeat for the Christian.

We are fighting an invisible war. It is Jesus against Satan, the culture, and our selfishness. We win by allowing Jesus to be #1 in our life.

Jesus likes to test our faithfulness. Today, Pastor Dan is speaking on the subject KEEPING CONSISTENT IN AN INCONSISTENT WORLD. Jesus gives us six tests to determine the level of our faith consistency. The first 3 are discussed today, and the last 3 will be discussed next week.
